The Maloof Money Cup is a great single event where the sole focus is on skateboarding. Making up this great experience are six distinct events over a three day period. With World Cup Skateboarding sanctioning the US Pro Street Championship as well as the US Pro Vert Championship and the US Women’s Pro Street Championship, the Maloof Money Cup will be the final event for the skateboarding year. This street course will be unlike any seen at other street skate events. Our course will incorporate specific remakes of well known skate spots across the U.S. and skateboarding teams will compete to draw out the most innovative and intense course superior to any other competition in the history of skateboarding. We will also be hosting the US Amateur
Championship which will be the largest and highest quality amateur event in skateboarding. The premier Youth Skateboarding Camp will be positioned so that the youth have a greater chance of interactivity and feedback from the attending pro’s. The sixth event is the 40,000 ft2 Etnies Village where retailers and manufacturers will be able to showcase their brand and patrons will enjoy the creativity and interaction of the festival, also having the chance to win a new car through a charitable raffle. Attendees will also get a chance to watch the energizing Game of Skate which pits skaters against each other in a one-up-manship style of competition.

This amazing experience will be held at the Orange County Fairgrounds in Costa Mesa during the opening weekend of the fair, July 11th -13th 2008. Along with our own marketing staff, the Orange County Fair will be promoting our event heavily in all of their marketing efforts where we will be attracting over 250,000 people for opening weekend alone.

The Maloof Money Cup will be awarding the largest purse ever for skateboarding
and any single action sport event in the world. The top skateboarders in the U.S. will be
competing for over $400,000 in cash prizes where the 1st place winner in US Pro Street
takes home $100,000 cash and the 1st place winner in US Pro Vert takes home $70,000
cash and a new car. The 1st place winner for US Pro Women’s Street will take home
the highest cash prize ever given to women skateboarders at $25,000.

Initially the idea began as simply a skateboarding camp for kids, but Joe saw a
great opportunity to get involved with the excitement and growth of action sports,
particularly in skateboarding and its lifestyle. There is already a lot of momentum to
take skateboarding into the Olympics by 2012 and the Maloof family has every intention
on helping promote the skateboard lifestyle and fuel more excitement for the growing
sport. The Maloof’s believe in the future of action sports and embrace the grand
opportunity of hosting this event in Southern California, the heart of skateboarding. The
Maloof family is already committed to this event with Joe actively involved. This event
will rise above all other skateboarding events and with the Maloof family behind this
100%, skateboarding will become the most electrifying action sport today.
